A Steadfast Faith

January 2018

It is a new year, and it started just in time for us to get home to Wyoming. We arrived home safely on the 3rd of January from our first deputation trip. It was a profitable time, both seeing almost all of both our families over the holidays, as well as being able to share our hearts for Cache County with several churches and individuals, and making some contacts for possible future meetings.

We are already jumping back into ministry here in Kemmerer at Grace Baptist, and James has already had his January weekend duty with the Army. We are both also continuing with our work and seminary educations, so life has resumed at full-speed.

Over the next several weeks, we will be focusing on scheduling meetings for the rest of this year. We have some challenges working around James’ monthly weekend duty and occasional trips for the Army, and regular doctor's appointments for Elizabeth; but we are hoping to plan several month-long trips to various eastern states, and shorter weekend-length trips to churches in our region of the country.

Pray that we will get a full calendar of meetings scheduled, and that we will see our support level rise this year, to the point that we can begin ministering in Cache County. Also, we continue to seek team members to join us, and would covet your prayers for God to call people to minister with us in Cache County, even for just a few years.

If you know a pastor/church whom we could contact for meetings, or someone who may be interested in living and ministering with us in Utah, please let us know.

We give thanks for those who have given financially over the past few months, which helped tremendously with our trip expenses. We are also very grateful for your faithful prayer support as we seek to obey God's leading. It is much appreciated!

For the Sake of His Name,
James & Elizabeth Johnson
